Шоу дронов в Алматы к 80-летию Победы: дата и место проведения 7 мая 2025 года

In Almaty, a drone show will take place on May 9 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, according to Tengrinews.kz citing the city administration. Over 500 drones will illuminate Abay Square at 21:00.

Images of legendary heroes Manshuk Mametova, Aliya Moldagulova, and Baurzhan Momyshuly will light up the sky, showcasing their bravery and spirit through cutting-edge technology and animation.

The show will also feature cranes, symbolizing remembrance, with a concluding message, "Жеңіс күні құтты болсын!" framed by a Kazakh ornament.

Key viewing spots include Abay Square, the area near Hotel Kazakhstan, the location near Caspian University, and along Abay Avenue from Nazarbayev to Dostyk.

Traffic Restrictions

Due to the event, temporary road closures will be in effect from 20:30 to 21:30 on May 9, affecting Abay Avenue between Nazarbayev and Dostyk, and Dostyk Avenue from Kurmangazy to Satpaev. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their routes accordingly.

Festivities for Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day are ongoing throughout Almaty on May 7 and 9. More details can be found here.
