Казахстанцы возмущены гибелью собаки в алматинской зоне отдыха
Об этом сообщило информационное агентство Almaty.news. In Kazakhstan, a scandal has erupted on social media following the death of a dog at Farm House, a popular resort in Almaty. Users are calling for a boycott and have significantly lowered the facility’s ratings on online maps, reports Tengrinews.kz.
According to posts in Threads, an allegedly stray dog was reportedly found hanged at the resort. Witnesses mentioned that the dog was likely searching for food. This incident has sparked outrage, with accusations of cruelty directed toward the resort’s management.
In response, users have left scathing reviews, condemning the treatment of animals and accusing the administration of deleting negative comments. Currently, the resort’s rating stands at 3.7 stars on platforms like 2Gis.
Animal protection fund Kare.kz has highlighted that such acts fall under Article 316 of the Criminal Code, which prescribes penalties ranging from fines to imprisonment for animal cruelty. They are demanding a thorough investigation by law enforcement.
Farm House’s administration referred to the incident as a tragic accident rather than an intentional act. They claimed that the stray dog was isolated for guest safety and that its death was accidental.
The local police department has been contacted for a statement regarding the incident.
